Aura separates internet traffic from protocol state.
Aura is designed so Solana coordinates ownership, service state, staking, rewards, claims, and treasury logic. It is not designed to publish browsing behavior or route packet traffic through a public blockchain.
Never publish
- Browsing history, DNS requests, packet payloads, router credentials, or raw MAC addresses.
- Exact private-home coordinates unless a host explicitly chooses public discovery.
- Unnecessary personally identifying information in reward or quest records.
Use carefully
Gateway health, uptime, quality, and usage aggregates should be minimized, signed, and stored with clear retention rules. Social identities used for quests should be optional and replaceable with wallet-native proofs.
On-chain boundary
On-chain accounts should hold compact state: network identifiers, operator ownership, reward epoch roots, claim receipts, staking records, and governance decisions. Sensitive raw telemetry belongs off-chain behind access controls.
